Knighton Manor is a Grade 2 listed Tudor house dating back to the late 16th Century. Stone mullion windows and a stone front doorway remain from this period.

The mix of stone and brick with metal windows from the early 20th Century make a pleasing house with a variety of building styles and materials. It was part of the Wilton estate but sold into private ownership in 1919. I moved into the manor house in 2005.

The Manor is set in the hamlet of Knighton which remains unspoilt with the barns and former mill now converted into homes. The Ebble River runs through the water meadows opposite the house and a cob thatched wall surrounds the property.

Until the 1950s the house had staff quarters and several living in the property.
